THE SCHANTZ AGENCY has provided insurance to hot air balloons, aviators and festival organizers for over 15 years. Located in Jacksonville Beach, FL and Atlanta, GA we insure over 1,000 balloonists throughout the United States.
ROB SCHANTZ
Rob, a balloonist and insurance agent of many years, is an active member of the balloon industry. Rob is a past President of the Balloon Federation of America and a recipient of its highest award. Rob resides in Jacksonville with his wife, Jetta, who is also a world class balloonist and record holder, along with their daughter, Summer.
JOHN M. GRIFFIN, CPCU
John joined the agency in 2005 after having worked for various insurance carriers including roles as President of two US carriers. John and his wife, Debi, live and work in Roswell, GA a suburb of Atlanta.
OUR CARRIER
We are associated with T.H.E. INSURANCE COMPANY , rated A-, VII AM Best. They are located in Treasure Island, FL and are specialists in the entertainment, leisure and recreation business. The carrier is admitted in 49 states and operates as a Surplus Lines carrier in CA.
